It’s been a long time coming. (The first day of school, obviously.)
And the futsal fields will have to continue to wait. On Monday night, August 17, the city council voted unanimously to table the zoning amendment that would allow the fields —which already has $300,000 pledged from private organizations, together with $50,000 pledged by the city council—in order to run it past the Historical Preservation Commission.
